About Us:
![]() The Shepshed Singers are a group of mixed voices and have been in existence for over 20 years. Throughout that time they have grown in number to their current position of 45 members drawn from Shepshed, Loughborough and surrounding villages in the Charnwood area. They rehearse once a week in St. Botolph's Church Hall. Shepshed Singers have a wide ranging repertoire of both sacred & secular music and it stands them in good stead for all types of occasions. Each year the Singers work towards a major classical work that is open to the public. Their lighter repertoire is much in demand for weddings, receptions & entertainment evenings organised by local charities & societies. Shepshed Singers have also sung competitively at the local Coalville Festival of Music where they have achieved success in various classes. At Christmastime the Singers are in demand for a variety of events and often take part in carol-singing to collect money for a charity of their choice. |
